How do we know that God exists?
We know that God exists for many reasons... The existance of God is shown in nature itself. The universe
is so full of order. How could this be if no God existed. Even the laws of physics say that it is impossible for such
order to come from nothing. Perception also reveals God's existance. Each human being has a living soul, a soul that
can only be formed by a pre-existant being. In

God loves you!
In John 3:16 the Bible reads, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life." God loves and cares for his creation. If God did not
love his creation it would have been eliminated a long time ago or perhaps it would have never been created at all.

What makes Christianity better than any other religions?
Christianity as opposed teaches love to all people. It doesn't just teach us to love others who share this belief but
everyone. Matthew 5:45 says, "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them
that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you..."

Man is Sinful
Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Man was created by God with the
freedom to chose between good and evil. Just as Adam and Eve chose to disobey God, so do men and women
today. Our sin and darkness is what seperates us from God.
|
There is a Penalty for Sin
John 3:36 says, "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see
life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." Without believing in the Son of God man is not right with God and cannot
be in the presence of God. Without this man is completely seperated from God left in darkness and death.

The Penalty for Your Sin has been Paid
God loves you and each and every other man and woman of creation but he cannot bear the sin that we carry. Even
in all the good deeds that we do on earth we are still not fit to be before God because of our sins. Jesus Christ is the
only way that mankind can be cleaned before God. Jesus was sent to earth to be born in human flesh. He was crucified
and died and on the third day arose. He was sinless and therefore fit to carry the burden of our sin. Psalms 103:12
referring to Jesus Christ says, "As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us."

Steps to Finding Salvation
- Ephesians 2:8-9 says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast." John 6:28-29 says, "Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we
might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him
whom he hath sent. Only through God's loving grace can man be saved. That is one step
to salvation.
- You must believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and that through his death your sins were payed. Your
belief must be true and deep.
- Jesus offers you a drink that will quench thirst more than the mind and body but the heart. You must be willing to
let him come in to your life. John 10:9 says, "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall
go in and out, and find pasture.
|
To accept Jesus you must then:
- Admit your need. ("I am a sinner").
- Be willing to turn from your path of sin (feel sorry and ask for forgiveness).
- Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross.
- Pray and invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life.

You have everlasting life
Don't rely on your feelings, they will change. To continue to grow and be a pleasing servant of God you must study
and obey his Word. You will find that fellowship (association with other Christians), prayers to God, and studying
and meditating on the Word of God will help you to grow more and more in your walk to eternal life.
